Lesson objectives All learners will be able to:

• Use some appropriate subject-specific vocabulary to talk on the topic: “What does your father do?” and “What do you want to be?” with a lot of support
Most learners will be able to:
• Use most time expressions on their speech;
• Understand the main points in extended talk with some support
Some learners will be able to:
• Use a lot of appropriate subject-specific vocabulary to talk on the topic
• Understand the main points in extended talk with little support

1. Organization moment.
Divide pupils into 2 groups with colors
1-st team: “Fruits”
2-nd team: “Vegetables”

2. Check up home task
Pupils take a plane and throw it to the flowers. And there are given questions under the flowers and they must answer it.
e.g: What is your name?
How old are you?
Which class are you in?
Can you play the guitar?

3. New lesson
T: - Before the beginning the lesson let’s revise the English alphabet. All of you listen to me and repeat after me. There are given snowballs with numbers on the active board. And you must find what letter is under the numbers. If you find the letters we can read the theme of our new lesson.
Example:
24 – W, 8 – H, 1 – A, 19 – T
The theme: What does your father do?
Working out previous vocabulary.
New words.
A teacher – Мұғалім A baker - наубайханашы
A driver – Жүргізуші A singer – әнші
A nurse - медбике A doctor – дәрігер
A ballerina – балерина A musician – музыкант
A farmer – шаруа An artist – суретші
A builder - құрлысшы A vet – мал дәрігері

Task 1. Find the job.
I treat people and I work day and night . (a doctor)
I teach children reading, writing and speaking . (a teacher)
I work in an office, I receive and send letters . (a secretary)
I look up my child and do home works . (a housewife)
I sing a modern sings. (a singer)
I drive a public and private transport. (a driver)

Read the dialogue.
- Kate, do you want to be a teacher?
- No, I don’t. I don’t want to be a teacher.
- What do you want to be?
- I want to be a doctor. Do you want to be a driver , Tom?
