Тема урока: Countries, capitals and nationalities

The objectives of the lesson:
The educational: to teach students to make up 7-9 sentences using new lexics;
The developmental: develop their own skills of thinking, understanding, memory, oral speech, reading, writing, listening;
The up-bringing: to educate to be active, helpful, generous to their friends, hard-working, honest, reliable and always keep their words, friendly with each other.

The procedure of the lesson:

1 Preliminaries
a) Greeting
Teacher: Will you stand up! Good morning, boys and girls!
-Who is on duty today?
- Who is absent?
- What is the day?
- What is the date today?
- What is the weather like?

Pupil: I am on duty today. All are present. Today is Monday. It’s cool, sunny, but it isn’t cloudy

Introducing to the lesson aim
Teacher: The theme of our lesson is “Countries, capitals and nationalities”. Today we are going to have a lesson on this topic, and we’ll do different types of exercises, then we’ll compete between the teams “Sun” and “Flowers”.

Warm-up!
Teacher: First of all, let’s remember the names of the countries. Do you remember? By the way, let’s play out favourite game “Step”. Any volunteers?
Pupil: America, Japan, Kazakhstan, India, Canada, Russia, Uzbekistan, Italy, Spain, France, China and etc.
Teacher: Thanks, now let’s check up your attentiveness. I’m going to read a list of capitals. If you’ll hear the capitals clap your hands. 1-2-3. Let’s begin!

Teacher: Dear boys and girls! Now you’ll see a competition. Two teams will take part in a game.
