Урок в 8 классе. “Family Traditions”
Задачи урока:
1. Обучающая. Практиковать учащихся в устной речи, в аудировании, повторить и закрепить
2. Развивающая. Развивать у учащихся навыки восприятия иностранной речи на слух, логическое мышление, умение критически мыслить.
3. Воспитывающая. Воспитывать бережное отношение к природе. Готовить экологически грамотного гражданина РК.
Ход урока.
1. Organization moment. Teacher: Morning! How are you? There are many guests at our lesson. Are you nervous? Indifferent? Please open your books and write down the date, day of the week, season.
2. Warm – up: Please come to the blackboard and let’s make a circle. Say one word about yourself which characterizes you . «Snowball»:

1. Confident – Алина К.
2. Active - Алина М.
3. Hardworking – Женя С.
4. Strong - Данил
5. Generous - Альфия
6. Independent - Вика
7. Adventurous - Вадим
8. Clever - Денис
9. Kind - Сергей.

As you see we all are different. But we have similarities too.

1. Yes, I quite agree: we have families.
2. You are right, we are the pupils of the 8 form.

4. That’s right! We live in Beryozovka/
5. You are mistaken. we are not from Acsai district, we are from Burlin district/
6. That’s true. Our center is Uralsk or West – Kazakhstan.
7. Of course, we are citizens of Kazakhstan.
8. Just so! We are human beings/
9. I shouldn’t say, that we love our Planet, but we must, because it is in danger.

3. Teacher: Do you guess the theme of our lesson? -
P1: I suppose we’ll speak about family in its wide and narrow meaning.
Teacher: Yes, You are right! we’ll speak about family “Family Traditions” – the theme of our lesson, write down.
Repeat after me: I am a part of the world & the world is a part of me! (аффирмация).
Today we shall continue speaking about ecology, practice grammar “Conditional sentences”. And I think If protection of the environment is your family tradition, Our Earth will be saved.- Prove that I have used Real Conditional sentence.

4. Checking home-task:
Teacher: Why is the world in danger?
Student: Because of Problem of Ecology.
Teacher: Now we’ll work in Groups:
1. group– answer your home task.
2. Group. Task: - Look at the screen. These are the photos about ecological problems. Tell me what you see at these photos and the ecological problem, using the full sentences. (Students answer)
1. I see the campfire on the photo. This is the problem of fires.
2. I see how people cut down the forest.
3. I see a working car, this is the pollution of air
. 4. I see the rubbish in the river, this is the pollution of water.
5. I see the litter in the forest, this is the pollution of forests.
6. I see the factory, this is the pollution of air.
7. I see the dirty step on the Earth, this is the pollution of our planet.
2 group – answer home-task.
1 group – Task: what can we do to help the Earth.
Answer: ask not what your country can do for you ask what you can do for your country. Write sentences using Real Conditional
1 If you are environment-educated person you will know man’s influence on the Nature.
2.If you plant trees you will create homes for birds and animals.
3. If you don’t throw rubbish our streets will be clean.
4. If you use your head you will be able to recycle, reuse paper, glass.
Conclusion: If each family on the Earth is happy the World will be happy too.
If the World is not in danger My family will not be in danger too.
5. In some families there is a tradition When all the members are sitting together in one room reading & listening to the poems. Let’s do the same.
Task: listen to the poems and be ready to Draw pictures to them.
(Students read the poems). Many wonderful things.
6. I see You notice the Beauty of our Nature and to protect the Earth will be your family tradition. And now we’ll speak about English traditions. open your books at p.39 Ex. 1 –.
Work in pairs. Winter – Summer, Autumn – Spring. Task: read the text and translate.
Work in groups:– 1. Group: Winter – Autumn
2. Group: Summer– Spring.
Task: make up a diagram.
Grammar: Unreal Conditional - нереальные условные предложения используются, чтобы выразить нереальность условий, а значит и невозможность результата.
Формула: (If the Past Simple)[ would + Verb (Infinitive without to)] – если высказывание относится к настоящему или будущему времени. (If the Past Perfect)[ would + have + V3 ]
7. Explaining home – task: Ex. 2 p.39
